Within Loyola College, the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry is certified by the American Chemical Society. The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, www.abet.org. The engineering program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, www.abet.org.

The programs in teacher education are accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), 1140 19th St. NW, Suite 400, Washington, D.C., (www.NCATE.org) and the Maryland State Department of Education. This accreditation covers initial teacher preparation programs and advanced educator preparation programs. However, the accreditation does not include individual education courses that the institution offers to P-12 educators for professional development, relicensure, or other purposes.
