PH 317 - Thermal Physics(3.00 cr.)
An examination of classical thermodynamic concepts including temperature, heat, entropy, free energy, and thermodynamic cycles. Also introduces the concepts of probability and statistical physics with an emphasis on the kinetic theory of gases. (Spring only)
