Educational Leadership, M.Ed.

The Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Leadership is for educators who wish to become leaders at the school (principal, assistance principal) and/or district level (supervisor, director, assistant superintendent and superintendent). The program of study will focus on both the theory and practice of contemporary school leadership. This program includes a six-credit internship, through which students have the opportunity to apply experience and further develop their leadership abilities in a real-life education setting.

Upon successful completion of the program and 27 months of successful teaching, students are eligible for certification as Administrator I (Assistant in Administration, Supervisor in Central Administrations, and Supervisor of Instruction).
