IB 473 - Global Strategic Alliances

Prerequisite: IB 282 or BH 282 , and 60 credits. Provides students with a hands-on, experientially-based knowledge of the role, evolution, selection, and management of strategic alliances. Through readings, assignments and activities, students develop their capacities to use the vocabulary and understand the drivers of strategic alliances, understand the alliance life cycle and each of its major components, identify the critical aspects in managing strategic alliances, and conduct a comprehensive alliance partner selection analysis.
