EC 304 - Survey of International Economics

(3.00 cr.)

Prerequisite: EC 102 , EC 103 , or written permission of the instructor. Utilizes the tools of economic principle to analyze the global economy that is increasingly open to trade and capital flows across borders. Major topics are international trade in goods and services, and the workings of international finance, particularly the foreign exchange market. Additional topics include a comparison of economic trade systems, regional trade arrangements, and the role of institutions such as the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund on the global economy.
