DS 496 - Ethical Data Science Capstone

Prerequisite: CS 485 or IS 353 ; DS 303 , ST 310 . Restricted to senior data science majors. Students work with an external client on a substantial data science project. Students gather project requirements through consultation with their clients and document them in a proposal approved by the client and the course instructor. Classroom discussions focus on social and ethical issues in data science. An oral presentation and a formal paper conclude the course. DS (Fall/Spring)
