BL 206 - Human Anatomy and Physiology I(3.00 cr.)
The first in a sequence of courses in human anatomy and physiology designed to meet the requirements for students pursuing careers in nursing or allied health. The course covers basic body organization; functional biochemistry; cytology; histology; study of integumentary, skeletal, muscular, circulatory, and respiratory systems; and emphasis on the study of normal anatomy and physiology with clinical applications. Written or electronic permission of the department chair or director of curriculum and advising. Closed to students who have taken BL 260 or BL 452 .
Prerequisite: BL 118 , BL 119 , BL 121 , BL 126 or equivalent. Concurrent Requisite: BL 207 .
