HS 379 - Latin America and the United States Since Independence(3.00 cr.)
Traces the development of political, economic, and cultural relations between the Latin American nations and the United States, particularly as seen from the south. Examines crises, misunderstandings, and stereotypes from both sides. Considers themes such as cultural exchange, intervention, Pan-Americanism, the Cold War, drug trafficking, and globalism.
