PH 484 - Methods of Theoretical Physics(3.00 cr.)
An introduction to advanced mathematical techniques which are often used in physical theory. Includes elliptic integrals, spherical harmonics, Bessel functions, Fourier analysis, complex analysis, and calculus of variations.
Prerequisite: MA 351 , PH 307 , and PH 312 ; or written permission of the instructor.
