HS 425 - Modern American Social Movements(3.00 cr.)
Examines popular movements to alter the political, cultural, or social structure of the United States in the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Topics include temperance reform, women's rights, Populism, Progressivism, the Ku Klux Klan of the 1920s, 1930s radicalism, anticommunism, the Civil Rights Movement, the New Left, and the Counterculture.
