BL 220 - Natural History of Maryland Species(4.00 cr.)
Studies the natural history of Maryland's native plants and animals. Their ranges, habitats, adaptations, conservation status, and interactions with other species are studied using ecological and evolutionary principles. Through lectures, laboratory exercises and field trips, Maryland's many habitats-from the Chesapeake Bay to the Appalachian Plateau-are explored.
Prerequisite: BL 121 , BL 126 , BL 201 , BL 202 ; or written permission of the department chair for nonmajors. Sessions Typically Offered: Fall/Spring/Summer Years Typically Offered: Annually
