FI 727 - Investment Banking

Focuses on the role of the investment bank in raising capital. Topics include the process of raising capital, initial public offerings, seasoned offerings, convertible financing, debt financing, venture capital, share repurchases, and investment research. Emphasis is also placed on the changing environment of the investment banking industry. Closed to students who have taken this course as a topic under FI 825  or GB 825 .
