PL 379 - Thinking through Terrorism

A team-taught, interdisciplinary approach that seeks to examine the causes and effects of contemporary terrorism and to develop critical perspectives concerning on-going efforts to combat it. Special attention is given to the tension between the interests of public security and those of democratic values, civil liberties, and moral principles.
