SC 203 - Globalization and Society

(3.00 cr.)

Examines the phenomenon of globalization and its consequences for nations, communities, families, and individuals. The course explores how the world is ever more interconnected, and yet the different ways that societies, and the groups within them, experience globalization. Attention is also paid to historical legacies that have shaped current predicaments of world society today. Fulfills social science core.

Restrictions: Restricted to freshmen, sophomores, global studies majors, and sociology majors and minors.
