EN 220 - Comic Books as Literature, Television, and Cinema(3.00 cr.)
Traces the evolution of comic books and graphic novels over the last century, from their beginnings on pulp paper to their extravagant adaptations on screen. The course explores how comic books and graphic novels have been used to reflect American culture during events such as WWII, The Vietnam War, The Civil Rights Movement, and Black Lives Matter.
