TH 606 - The Life and Writings of Saint Paul

Devoted to reading the letters of Paul in literary, historical, and theological contexts. Topics include the nature of Pauline theology; Paul as a reader of Scripture; the socio-economic context of the Pauline mission; and Paul and Judaism, as well as early Christian receptions of Paul and his works. Attention is also given to relevant topics in the General Epistles and in early Christian interpretations of Paul.
