SP 712 - Accent Modification for English Language Learners

A combination of lecture-discussion and hands-on approaches are used to survey current methods in, and approaches to, accent/dialect modification. Students are provided with the necessary knowledge and skills for improving the overall intelligibility and oral communication skills of English Language Learners and/or speakers of non-American dialectal varieties of English.
