CM 363 - The Magazine Article

Prerequisite: CM 205 . Students are given an overview of magazine publishing and a survey of the various markets for magazine articles; covers general interest, specialized, trade, and company magazines. Offers practice in developing ideas for articles, in querying editors for their interests, and then in outlining, researching, and writing the articles. Students write a variety of articles tailored to discrete audiences or markets. (Fall/Spring)
