HS 359 - African American History through Film

Prerequisite: One HS 100-level course. Explores major themes in African American history through the medium of film, supplemented by critical readings and primary sources. Students are introduced to significant developments, pivotal questions, and notable individuals who have contributed to the shape of the nation's history, society, and diverse culture.
