Examines canonical art works of the western tradition in the context of key intellectual and artistic developments through close reading of primary sources and the formal and iconographic readings of works of art. Fulfills the fine arts core requirement for Honors students, Class of 2018 and beyond. Closed to students who have taken AH 111 .
