AD 701 - Trauma Informed Leadership

Aspiring school leaders have the opportunity to learn, understand, and apply the theories and practices of trauma informed leadership. This course examines principles of trauma informed care, types of trauma, and the fundamental neurological frameworks on the ways in which trauma impacts the brain and learning. Through scholarship, applied methods, and various learning modalities students not only gain insight into the implications of trauma but how to implement policies and practices specific to trauma informed care.
