Explores the applicability and importance of forensic science in veterinary and wildlife investigations, including an introduction to the scientific and forensic method, crime scene analysis and processing, types of evidence, evidence collection, and field analyses. Methods of forensic analysis relevant to cases of animal cruelty, neglect and abuse, wildlife conservation, and poaching are examined.
