SP 503 - Articulation and Phonology(3.00 cr.)
Prerequisite: SP 505 or written permission of the instructor. Anatomical, physiological, neurological, and acoustic bases of speech sound disorders and phonological systems. Current theories and evidence-based practices in assessment and intervention related to phonological development, articulation, oral motor skills, childhood apraxia of speech, phonological processes, phonological awareness, social dialects, and bilingualism are addressed. Credits do not count toward the graduate degree. (Spring only)
