Examines strategic issues around developing and sustaining competitive advantage from information and information technology in the enterprise. Focuses on management information systems (IS), and the impact of information technology on strategy, knowledge management, organizational forms, and emerging technologies such as big data, analytics, cloud, software as a service (SaaS), Internet of Things (IoT), social media, and customer relationship management. Students gain the skills needed to utilize information technologies as process enablers, change agents, and strategic facilitators.
