FO 647 - Trace Evidence and Questioned Documents

Introduces the basic procedures and practices used for the analysis of trace evidence and forensic document evidence (questioned documents) casework. The course covers general microscopy, fire debris and arson, physical match, tool mark, hair, fibers, and paint examinations. Forensic document examinations topics include handwriting and forgeries; altered, obliterated, and indented writing; and printer examinations.
