EG 031 - Linear Circuit Analysis Lab(1.00 cr.)
Corequisite: EG 331 . A laboratory course that accompanies and enhances the learning objectives of EG 331 . Ohm's law, Kirchhoff's laws, equivalent circuits, and linear analysis theorems/techniques are reinforced by building and testing physical circuits. The transient response and steady-state response of fundamental first- and second-order circuits are measured and explored. Also, transfer functions are measured for simple filtering circuits. Use of common electrical laboratory equipment, laboratory safety protocols, error analysis, and technical writing are also addressed.
