SP 401 - Neurology for Communication Sciences and Disorders

Prerequisite: SP 103 , SP 201 , SP 207 , SP 301 , SP 308 . Restricted to majors. Normal neuroanatomical and physiological development from embryology through adulthood is explored. Neurology associated with speech, language, and cognition is emphasized. Neurological examination as related to the practice of speech-language pathology is discussed.
