Requirements for the Major

The Philosophy interdisciplinary major consists of seven courses in total paired with the requirements of the other interdisciplinary program.  The philosophy requirements are as follows:

• PL 201 - Foundations of Philosophy
• 6 upper-level level PL courses, only one of which may be a Philosophical Perspectives Course (PL 202-299) and only one of which may be a departmental core offering in Ethics (PL 300-319).
