The School of Education offers a minor in English to Speakers of Other Languages which provides students with the opportunity to explore effective practices for working with multilingual student populations and families. The minor includes foundational theories in second language acquisition as well as practical methods for teaching and collaborating in schools and community settings. The minor in English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) is open to students in any major.
