EC 220 - Business Statistics

Prerequisite: MA 151 or MA 251 or equivalent. MA 151 or MA 251 may be taken concurrently. Introduces the concepts and application of statistics in management. Students learn to apply estimation and hypothesis testing to univariate and multivariate business problems. Topics include descriptive statistics and statistical inference; multiple regression; correlation; and trend and seasonal time series analysis. DS/GT/IDS
