ED 438 - Field Experience: Special Education (Elementary/Secondary)

Corequisite: SE 296 . Restricted to elementary education majors or special education minors. A school-based involvement in special education for three or four hours per week. Students work with children in the classroom in a variety of ways, including one-on-one instruction and small group teaching. They become acquainted with resources and participate in the preparation of learning materials. Problems and techniques of classroom management are experienced in a realistic setting. (Pass/Fail)
