BL 301 - Vertebrate Anatomy with Lab

(5.00 cr.)

Vertebrate Anatomy uses an integrated approach to understand the gross anatomy of the major organ systems in vertebrates, with special attention to humans. To provide better understanding, it examines each system within the context of its evolutionary origin as well as its embryological development. The lab focuses on the microscopic examination of early embryonic development, followed by dissection of major organ systems in the cat. Closed to students who have taken or plan to take BL 206  or BL 260 .

Prerequisite: BL 118 , BL 119 , BL 121 , BL 126 .
