SP 314 - Intermediate Sign Language(3.00 cr.)
Expands the student’s sign language vocabulary and increase speed, accuracy, and fluency of sign language communication. Students develop more complex skills related to grammar, idioms, role shifting, and classifiers. Deaf culture and issues impacting the Deaf and hard of hearing community are explored through lecture and participation in local community events.
Prerequisite: SP 214 or written permission of the undergraduate program director.
