Advanced graduate work beyond the master's degree may be pursued in either Montessori primary or elementary education. The 30-credit program leads to a Certificate of Advanced Study (C.A.S.). Requirements are 27 credit hours of coursework in the Montessori concentration; three credit hours developing an independent research project; and comprehensive examinations. This program is available on-site only at the Washington Montessori Institute.
