International Business Concentration
(Note: This program is closed to new students.)
Requirements for the international business concentration and typical program of courses are listed below. Students majoring in business administration with a concentration in international business must take the concentration requirements listed below.
Business Foundation Courses for Students with a Concentration in International Business:

Students are required to complete the following:

Other Elective Options
One of the three IB track required electives may be a course outside of Sellinger or a Sellinger short-term abroad course (Note: There are additional costs associated with a study tour course.)
Non-credit Global Experiential Requirement
Students must complete one of the following. International students are exempt from this requirement.
- IB 499 - International Business Internship (Note: International students are exempt from this requirement)
- Internship (non-credit) related to IB (internship can be domestic or international)
- Study Abroad Program course beyond the required 104 level
- Short-term Study Abroad Program
- A Loyola language course beyond the required 104 level
- A Loyola service-learning course related to IB
- A Loyola immersion experience that relates to IB
- An alternative IB experience as agreed upon by the Chair of the Management and International Business department and the student

This is a possible plan of study, but it need not be followed in the same order by every student. Consult with your academic advisor.
Key:
*Students concentrating in international business are encouraged to complete IB 282 during sophomore year.
**Students concentrating in international business should review and complete the non-credit Global Experiential requirement their junior or senior year.
***MG 402 and MG 407 can be taken in either the fall or spring term if prerequisites or co-requisites are met.
****Candidates for the BBA degree may substitute Introduction to Statistics (ST 210 ) for EC 220 . Note that both EC 220 and ST 210 count towards the third Math/Natural Science requirement in the Loyola Core.
