Requirements for the finance major and typical program of courses are listed below. Students majoring in finance must complete the business foundation courses in addition to the major requirements listed below. This is only one example of a path to graduation; for alternative finance paths, please speak with your academic advisor. Select Four Finance Electives:

This is a possible plan of study, but it need not be followed in the same order by every student. Consult with your academic advisor. Notes:
- FI 330 counts as a Finance elective and is available only to sophomores finance majors. To be eligible to take FI 330 students must take AC 201 and FI 230 in the first year.
- Candidates for the degree may substitute Introduction to Statistics (ST 210 ) for Business Statistics (EC 220 ). Note that both EC 220 and ST 210 count towards the third Math/Natural Science requirement in the Loyola Core.
- EL 703 may be taken in lieu of FI 426 for students accepted to the Accelerated Bachelor’s to ELMBA program.
