SA 367 - Public Art

Prerequisite: SA 224 or written permission of the instructor. Examines public art and allows students to gain an awareness of socio-economic, political, and spatial issues involved in public art through discussion, group critique, reading, research, and writing. Students create art projects for public spaces and work with community partners to install large-scale artworks off-campus in the latter half of the course. (Even Years)
