SP 413 - Advanced Topics: Speech-Language Disorders

Prerequisite: SP 206 , SP 207 , SP 304 . Restricted to senior Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences majors. Provides instruction and information about topics in the profession of Speech-Language Pathology. Specifically, professional topics include: ethics and licensure issues, diagnostic assessments for speech and language, and intervention for school-age children and/or adults. Case studies are used in instruction and in promoting critical thinking and problem-solving surrounding these topics. (Spring only)
