BL 150 - Foundations of Biology I(3.00 cr.)
An examination of the molecular and cellular basis of life, specifically how cell structure determines cell function, thereby enabling cells to adapt to their environment. Topics include chemical bonding, macromolecules, genome structure, cell structure and replication, metabolism and cellular energetics, cellular homeostasis, and cell communication. Required for biology, biochemistry, and forensic studies majors. Fulfills the natural science core requirement. Same course as BL 118 .
