EN 215  -  Literature Onstage, Yesterday and Today

(3.00 cr.)

Introduces skills that are foundational to engaging with drama as literature. The course explores twentietth and twenty-first century theater's major trends, forms, and themes to showcase how it has evolved as a literary form to be what it is today. Studied works (predominantly by American and British writers) show how theater both shapes and reflects modern and contemporary society.

Prerequisite: EN 101 .
