NUR 216 - Fundamentals of Nursing Clinical(2.00 cr.)
Develops clinical judgment and competencies in providing patient-centered, compassionate care. Students apply basic nursing skills and the nursing process in clinical settings, emphasizing safety, privacy, and dignity in patient care and professional interactions. Student competency is assessed through clinical practice, skills checklists, direct observation, and feedback, with evaluations based on communication, critical thinking, clinical judgment, psychomotor skills, safety, professional behavior, and self-reflection.
Prerequisite: NUR 210 , NUR 211 . Concurrent Requisite: NUR 215 . Restrictions: Restricted to nursing majors.
