The Visual and Performing Arts Department offers majors in the visual and performing arts. Students interested in the visual arts may pursue concentrations in art history, photography, studio arts, and interarts. The department also offers an interdisciplinary major in visual arts and minors in art history, photography, studio arts, and interarts. Those interested in the performing arts may pursue concentrations in music and theatre as well as a comprehensive concentration in music and theatre together. The department also offers interdisciplinary majors in the performing arts with concentrations both in music and in theatre and minors in both music and theatre. Internships are available throughout the department. Students seeking internships should contact a faculty director in the semester prior to the internship.
