Information Systems and Data Analytics Minor

The Sellinger School offers minors to support the career and professional interests of students pursuing majors in business, arts, and sciences. The Information Systems and Data Analytics minor offers students flexibility in selecting courses that align with their interests in information systems and data analytics. Specific courses within the minor are organized into two tracks. The information systems track is intended for students who are interested in IT design and use while the data analytics track is intended for students who are interested in using data to solve business problems. Students are free to choose a specific track or to select courses from either track in order to complete their minor. The Information Systems and Data Analytics minor is not available to students majoring in information systems and data analytics.

Requirements for the Minor
This 15-credit minor is comprised of courses within three categories. Students take three cornerstone courses, one foundation course, and one elective

Notes:
- The Data Analytics Track requires students to take IS 358 and one elective from the following: IS 356 , IS 358 , IS 360 , IS 452 , IS 460 , IS 470 , IS 499 , OM 406 , and MK 415 .
- The Information Systems Track requires student to take IS 453 and one elective from the following: AC 402 , IS 311 , IS 352 or CS 151 , IS 355 , IS 452 , IS 453 , IS 499 , OM 334 , and OM 335 .
