The M.Ed. in Montessori Education aims to develop strong outcomes for children, families, and communities in Montessori education. Through the unique AMI Concurrent pathway, students develop integrated, culturally relevant, responsive structures in the school setting, investigate transformative educational methods through research and design, and recognize their pathway to strengthen outcomes across the globe.
In partnership with select off-site AMI training centers, the AMI Concurrent M.Ed. program consists of the successful completion of 36 credits of study on the graduate level, including 27 credit hours conducted at an AMI off-site training center and 9 final credits completed after the training course in an online summer format. Before starting the final summer session, students must receive their AMI diploma.
Note: Students must enroll simultaneously with select AMI training centers and Loyola University Maryland. Graduate course credit is not granted retroactively for coursework completed prior to enrollment in the Montessori master's program.
