BL 270 - Ecology with Lab

An introduction to the principles of ecology stressing interaction between organisms and their environment at the levels of the individual, population, community, and the ecosystem. These principles are then applied to current environmental and conservation problems and issues. Laboratory experiments, computer simulations, and field experiences designed to demonstrate basic ecological principles. One weekend field trip may be required.

Prerequisite: BL 154 , BL 155 ; or BL 201 , BL 202 .
