BL 155 - Foundations of Biology III Lab(2.00 cr.)
An intermediate lab course in which students conduct a long-term research project that requires: responsible use of living materials, revision and adaptation, expression and interpretation of data in graphs and tables, the completion of scientific calculations and statistics, and communication of results. Students also engage in computational analysis, modeling, and simulation of complex processes, discuss current topics in biology using evidence-based arguments, and explore sub-fields and career options in biology. Required for biology majors. Same course as BL 202 .
Prerequisite: BL 118 or BL 150 , BL 119 or BL 151 , BL 121 or BL 152 , BL 126 or BL 153 . Prerequisite (may be taken concurrently): BL 154 . Sessions Typically Offered: Fall/Spring Years Typically Offered: Annually
