RE 430 - Disciplinary and Digital Literacy for Diverse Elementary Learners(3.00 cr.)
Addresses the theories, research, and evidence-based pedagogical practices related to the scaffolding, expansion, and assessment of disciplinary literacies (ELA, Math, History, and Science) and digital literacies with elementary learners. Students are taught to critically explore and evaluate twenty-first century print and digital resources, tools, and texts for disciplinary learning in culturally and linguistically diverse elementary classrooms.
Prerequisite: RE 345 . Restrictions: Open to students with catalogue year 2023-2024 or beyond. Restricted to elementary education majors.
