Psychology is the scientific study of the brain, mind, and behavior within a sociocultural context. As such, psychology informs our understanding of contemporary issues and historical events. In this course, first-year students are introduced to fundamental skills in psychological science while engaging with a relevant topic. Specific topic varies by instructor. Fulfills social science core.
