• Four 300- and 400-level economics courses, two of which must be taken at the 400-level. At the discretion of the department chair, certain courses offered by other departments may qualify toward the upper-level requirement.*

Note:

1. Economics students accepted into the accelerated bachelors to MS in data science may take ST765, ST 710 and CS701 in order to complete the MS in one and half years.  ST 710 should be taken during the spring of a student's junior year, and ST765 the fall of their senior year.  Both courses will count towards an economics elective for their undergraduate degree and the MSDS degree. Students without prior programming experience should also take CS 701 in the fall of their senior year which will count as an undergraduate elective.
