Business Economics, BBA


Requirements for the Business Economics, BBA are listed below. Students must take the business foundation courses  in addition to the major requirements listed below.

* EL707 and EL715 may be taken in lieu of EC 341  for students accepted to the Accelerated Bachelor's to ELMBA program.

Notes:


Students will ideally complete EC 301  or EC 302  prior to the fall of the junior year. Students with good mathematical skills are encouraged to take MA 251  and MA 252 . Students interested in pursuing graduate study in economics are encouraged to take MA 301 .

** EC 220  counts towards the third Math/Natural Science requirement in the Loyola Core.

Note:


  1. Economics students accepted into the accelerated bachelors to MS in data science may take ST765, ST 710 and CS701 in order to complete the MS in one and half years.  ST 710 should be taken during the spring of a student's junior year, and ST765 the fall of their senior year.  Both courses will count towards an economics elective for their undergraduate degree and the MSDS degree. Students without prior programming experience should also take CS 701 in the fall of their senior year which will count as an undergraduate elective.
